Influence of Potassium and Spacing on Yield and Economics of Mustard (Brassica juncea L.)

A field experiment was conducted during Rabi of 2022-23 at the Crop Research Farm, Department Agronomy, Naini Agricultural Institute, Sam Higginbottom University Agriculture, Technology And Sciences, Prayagraj (U.P.) India. To study Response potassium and spacing on growth yield Mustard. The treatments consist 30,40,50 kg/ha 25 x 10 cm, 35 45 cm. There were 9 each replicated thrice. soil experimental plot sandy loamy in texture, nearly neutral reaction (pH 7.8), low organic carbon (0.35%) available N (163.42 kg/ha), P (21.96 kg/ha) K (256.48 kg/ha). Results revealed that significantly higher number siliqua per plant (276), seeds/siliqua (16.54), oil content (44.03%), seed (2.33 t/ha) stover (3.53 influenced with application 50 +spacing Higher gross returns (INR 116616/ha), net 85013/ha) B:C ratio (2.69) also recorded treatment-9 (Potassium +Spacing cm).
